Rates

One figure a semester, and no bills after it.

Rent, electricity, water and fibre internet are all in the same payment. There is no utility account in your name, nothing to set up when you arrive, and nothing to close when you leave. Figures below are for Fall 2026.

How it is split

Non-refundable depositSecures your room, and is the first thing you pay.
$2,000
The balanceAlso paid before you arrive. Payment in full is what gets you admitted to the dorms.
$1,950

One exception: with proof of a Financial Aid Award, the balance may be paid within 60 days of the lease starting, with a $100 per day penalty after that.

What that spares you

  • No electricity account to open in your own name, on an island where that is not a five minute job.
  • No water bill arriving after you have already flown home.
  • No deposit haggling with a private landlord you have never met.
  • No furniture to buy, and none to get rid of at the end.

When it is due

Before you travel, not on the day.

Payment is completed in full before you arrive; that is what admission to the dorms depends on. The $2,000 deposit is non-refundable and secures your room. Send the receipt to accounting and bring a copy with you.

Short stays

Not a student? Rooms are let short-term too.

When the dorms are not at capacity we take tenants on a short-term basis. Availability changes with the academic calendar, so the only way to know is to ask.

Send the dates you have in mind and the housing office will tell you what is free.
